This is Escape Kitty and me posing together to wish you good tidings and holiday cheer. She doesn't much like hats but made the best of an uncomfortable situation.   And she really does have a smile on her face, though you'd never know it.

Escape Kitty, Flying Unicorns and Authentique team up for PUUURFECTION

Authentique Seasons  "Autumn"  Collection now available at the Flying Unicorns.

The Creative Team is showcasing the new collections from Authentique .  Kitty, being the mascot for the Creative Team and the only one home at the time the papers arrived in the mail, decided to grab up the papers and craft away.  

We were sent the  Seasons "Autumn" to play with and showcase.  Kitty liked the papers because they have the same  warm colors as her fur.  

Kitty loves Autumn as well.  She loves to chase the falling leaves and smell the crisp fresh air.  Not much of a fan of the chilly weather, but is fine to sit out in the cool weather in small doses.

This is a photo of her sitting in some sunflowers -looking like the Queen of  the Autumn Parade.  Don't tell her otherwise. 

Ahhhhh flowers she cannot eat for a change because they are wonderful Prima flowers.

The gold metal adornment is once  again rubbed with Rub N Buff.  I had to assist as Kitty refuses to get the Rub N Buff in her claws.  She watches and directs but refuses to do the dirty messy work.

Here Kitty is in all her Autumn glory.

Feelin the Love

Flying Unicorn Kit of the Month -50 Shades of Summer is finally available.  Meeeowzers is this a great kit.  And Kitty is enjoying it so very much. 

She's in a soft and snugly mood here to match the kit.  Well, the kit is not snugly - but it is soft and romantic and feminine. 

Kitty is resting peacefully on the patio chair, just watching the backyard.  No worries - I am sitting next to her.  We are having coffee on the deck together.  She is daydreaming and I am watching the sneaky dickens that she can be. 

The Dusty Attic ornate corner frames Kitty.  It's simply painted white.  All the embellishments are painted white as well to give a fresh whitewash feel. 

The design is by Tammy Henderson and used for a Mojo Monday.

Flying Unicorn - Rays of Magic June kit of the month - Graduation Time

Welcome to Flying Unicorns reveal of the June it of the Month - Rays of Magic.

Now Miss Kitty, in her Cap and Gown, has mastered challenges,  big and small, in order to graduate to the next level.   Kitty also wants to celebrate and congratulate the Class of 2013!I think her mortarboard cap makes her look a little like an owl - a wise old owl.

Kitty was really using her crafty noggin when she  started this piece. The inspiration came from the packaging of the metal adornments.  They are packed with the most gorgeous colorful  floral Flying Unicorn graphics as seen  below.  Those little orange and pink flowers are from the Adornments packaging.

Just look at the metal adornments?  

More packaging and some gold mesh I have at home in my stash.

Escape Kitty - Spring has Sprung and so has Kitty

Escape Kitty's idea of Spring is to get sprung.  A little rest and relaxation in the yard doing what most folks do who have been stuck in the house all winter...
What?            Run about the yard like crazy people?          
No Kitty -that's not what people do. But you go right ahead.  Indulge.

She did take a moment to sniff some grape hyacinth in the back yard, so I snapped a photo.  There's no way to know if she is looking at the flower or hunting an ant. LOL

This was created for the Flying Unicorns round robin week 1. I used the Prima Poppies and Peonies mask to create some texture, then added some micro beads. 

In the photo below, my cluster has one of the Metal Adornaments from the Flying Unicorns store.

Flying Unicorns Present Coffee and Muse

There are two things required when creating Coffee & Muse. As we give tribute to our paper crafting muse hopefully our creative mjo will not leave anytime soon.
