I got my start on Sept 1, 2010 as I was out playing in the yard enjoying the birds and squirrels. Really just minding my own business. Happy. Content. Daydreaming.
When, but in an instant, I caught a movement in the corner of my eye. Since cats are noted for their superior vision, I had to do a double take because I thought my eyesight had failed me. I shut my kitty eyes for a moment and reopened them to disbelief.
A coyote? In MY yard? Could it be? And he's drooling my way? Move move move! Find my mom . Run to safety.
Big mistake! Really big mistake. Now she never lets me outside. Done - left to dream. ahhhhh but Kitty dreams really do come true.
Escape Kitty needs your help! She has three little stories for a contest. The judges are looking for "LIKES" and comments/feedback n the stories.

So Let's see what Miss Kitty is up to this month:
Escape Kitty - Geisha Kitty
First, a proper greeting by the great Geisha followed by a respectful bow (though she's a cat and it doesn't look much like a bow - looks a little bit like a quick paw lick and it very well might be.)
Konnichiwa- pronounced "kon-nee-chee-wah". A puuuurfectly wonderful way for Missy Kitty to welcome you to her blog and tea party. Kitty is celebrating by getting dressed up. Apparently my husband says Kitty wears this when we have sushi at home.
Escape Kitty- Napping Kitty was created for the Prima BAP using elements from Scraps Of Elegance.
Such beautiful papers and embellishments assembled into one kit. Make scrapping easy.
Kitty found this on my blog and called me a pirate! She made me post here - where it belongs.
So here she is, Escape Kitty settling in for a nap on the deck. Supervised of course. I have my little camera stuck in her face as she naps, poor thing. Oh the pretty have such a rough life.
But this was created for the Prima Nov BAP (Build a page).
November Prima BAP (Build A Page) created by Steph Devlin. Scrumptious, Devlin Divinity, amazing...this is definitely a design that I will do again. Thanks Steph. You have dazzled me.
OK I had fun with Prima masks and Dusty Attic as well. I used the Dusty Attic Grass Clusters #1 DA0660 to create layers on Kitty's spider plant. I inked them and topped the dangling flower part with thick modeling paster and yellow acrylic paint in Sunshine (Adirondack paint).
FabScraps has added Jennifer Snyder as a design team member. Such super duper news!
Trust that I know all about this since she has been dancing and fluttering all about the house. Much like a butterfly. She only does this when she's happy.
She called me onher lap and I thought we were gonna have a serious, "Don't you dare touch me stuff", kindof chat. But we didn't! She said I was allowed to sort through and pick out what I wanted. Yippee.
So guess what????? Since she wasn't real clear on what I could use, I'm grabbing what I want first. hehehe.
YIPPEE, that makes me a designer too - MASCOT designer.
Welcome to Scraps Of Elegance Je t'aime. A gorgeous collection of the prettiest papers, embelishments and unique items to inspire your creativity.
This month, the kit features an assembly of beautiful pastels and florals from Fabscraps, Bella d'adore Paperz and Ruby Rock-It.
This page uses the wonderful deliCAT papers from Fabscraps Marie Antoinette collection. Escape Kitty believes these papers were created for her - though indirectly. The deliCAT beauty of them and all. Kitty, as we all know, can turn anything around to be about her.
This is a design using the Nov Sketch created just for Scraps of Elegance by Charlotte Jenkins, also known in the scrapping world as suepup. Thanks Charlotte for sharing your creative mind with the rest of us.
Escape Kitty Princess Snaggletooth
Kitty has a few friends that she admires beyond words. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Well Escape Kitty is trying hard to work her way up the aristoCATic ladder so that she can sit on the throne with her pals, Helbert, and LaceyKat. They both wear the crowned Jewels over at Scrapbook.com.
She also wants to be regal and Queenly like Marie Antoinette. It's no coincidence that Kitty picked this Fabscraps paper with Marie Antoinette's name. (yet another reason Kitty thinks this paper line is all about her)
This is Kitty, trying hard to be Princessly. Let not the snaggletooth distract you...or the whiskers...or the tongue sticking out. hahaha
She also has a lot of whitewash gesso work going on here. She wanted a soft throne - much like her bed.
