Who is Escape Kitty?

Let me introduce myself. I am Escape Kitty.

I got my start on Sept 1, 2010 as I was out playing in the yard enjoying the birds and squirrels. Really just minding my own business. Happy. Content. Daydreaming.

When, but in an instant, I caught a movement in the corner of my eye. Since cats are noted for their superior vision, I had to do a double take because I thought my eyesight had failed me. I shut my kitty eyes for a moment and reopened them to disbelief.

A coyote? In MY yard? Could it be? And he's drooling my way? Move move move! Find my mom . Run to safety.

Big mistake! Really big mistake. Now she never lets me outside. Done - left to dream. ahhhhh but Kitty dreams really do come true.

So come follow me! I am off to Escape.

Scraps of Darkness Reveal - A Long December

Here is the wonderful Scraps of Darkness kit, Long December.

This kit is full of coolness ( as in winter chill) to complement those snowy shots you'll want to take as the snow piles up.  If you live in a place that is having summer or nice weather, then you'll want use this kit to show off your amazing photos of sunshine to show the rest of us what we are missing.  Because that's what friends do for each other.  LOL.

This month's kit featured some absolutely fun and unique items including the popular handcrafted stick pins made by Mandy Harrell , craftysprinkles.   These pins are exclusively found in Scraps Of Darkness Kits.

Escape Kitty - Santa Kitty
Here is Kitty, to help you get in the spirit of the season.  Actually Kitty is trying to tell me she is expecting some new toys for Christmas, maybe a bird or two to fill her cage is empty, and loads of joy for the new year.

What do you want this year?

Escape Kitty wishes that all your dreams, hopes and joys come true at Christmas and in the new year.

This design was using the monthly kit sketch by Charlotte Jenkins.  Give it a try. She is very talented.  You can find the sketch at Scraps of Darkness.

Kitty's jazzed this up a bit by adding some wonderful blingy jewels by ZVA in smoke color.  ZVA-CRW-05CB-148.

The bird cage is DustyAttic Birdcage #5 DA0678 and I coated it with Stampendous Aged Enamel in Gold.
