Who is Escape Kitty?

Let me introduce myself. I am Escape Kitty.

I got my start on Sept 1, 2010 as I was out playing in the yard enjoying the birds and squirrels. Really just minding my own business. Happy. Content. Daydreaming.

When, but in an instant, I caught a movement in the corner of my eye. Since cats are noted for their superior vision, I had to do a double take because I thought my eyesight had failed me. I shut my kitty eyes for a moment and reopened them to disbelief.

A coyote? In MY yard? Could it be? And he's drooling my way? Move move move! Find my mom . Run to safety.

Big mistake! Really big mistake. Now she never lets me outside. Done - left to dream. ahhhhh but Kitty dreams really do come true.

So come follow me! I am off to Escape.

Escape Kitty's Ski Adventure - Flying Unicorns Kitty of the Month March

Escape Kitty Welcomes you to the March Revel of the Kit of The Month.  As the snow continues to fall in our part of the world, Kitty decided to embrace it and pull the snow skis out.  She's got a darling little cap that fits her ears puuurfectly. Kitty is a tad bit late for the Olympics, missing the trials by just one catnap too long.

We are so excited to bring you our March 2014 Kit of the Month

The doily is just a generic wooden doily from a craft store.  I thought it was pretty so it came home with me.
We punched a circle from the Authentique Classique Elegance Collection,  and wanted a little more decoration so we marked off a large circle with a pencil.  Then used the Prima Stencil and molding paste a little at a time till we moved around the space we marked.  Once dry, we rubbed some ink over the stenciling.

Now I say "we" because Kitty is no help when it comes to inks and molding paste and delicate things.   Her furry paws simply don't know deliCATe.

The snowflakes are from the Martha Stewart punches with ink added to the tips.
