Kitty has created a tag for a cause that is near and dear to Kitty's heart.
Animal Rescue
Kitt'ys tag says "Passion, Love, Inspire...Rescue"
Yes, believe it or not, Kitty is from the rescue shelter. This proves you can find royalty at your local shelter. Many of you already know this.
If you look at the bottom, you'll find a sweet little mini-kitty sitting with her rescue friends.
In addition to Kitty, this tag features the Taylor doll stamp. She's got a little sass in her step I believe. Just like Kitty.
She is wearing the gorgeous Prima Stationer's Desk collection. The background of the tag is also a Julie Nutting Tag pack.
I also used some wonderful chipboard pieces from 2Crafty. These are the ATC Words. I simply embossed them with gold embossing powder.
You can see the multiple layers in Taylor's skirt - helps show movement and provides dimension. She's also wearing a smart wrap with leggings because she is busy walking and playing with her new friends.

What a gorgeous tag! It's my favorite of them all since i love animals too! I have a purry furry friend like you here on my lap right now (forcing me to pet her with one hand and to type with the other) named Sugar that I love very much. If i were an animal right now, I would definitely want to be a cat so I could have long kitty conversations and play sessions with Sugar!

All of my fur babies have been rescues and I've loved each and everyone of them...both my daughters loved to volunteer at the local shelters, I have been banned :( because I always got upset because I couldn't bring them home with me! but they let me help with the fundraisers LOL....hmmm I think I would be a cat..I could do with being a bit more graceful!

ReplyDeleteThis last doll is very special to my heart. We will be adopting a baby from the rescue shelter in a couple of weeks. We love Boston Terriers and this little girl will be big and strong enough to go home with us soon.

I am a dog and cat person, although I have had my abundance of cats, I just lost my 18 year old and my 20 year old, I still have the two outside ones that came and never left. I need a breather from the inside animals.After 20 years, 2 dogs and 4 cats I am just going to enjoy the other two animals in the house. (kids). Great hop!!!!
Love this collection, one of my favorites and such a beautiful tag with the doll layers and sweet babies. A beautiful idea for such a worthy cause. I would be a dog, but of course as my 2 babies do, I wouldn't and they don't know they are dogs,LOL. They are our spoiled babies.

ReplyDeleteI am an animal lover so this tag is right up my alley. Picking one animal would be hard, maybe a fish because sea life is so colorful and beautiful. Maybe a bird so I can fly whenever I'd like.

ReplyDeleteHi EK! I have always followed your adventures through your mom! If I were an animal, I would really want to be one of MY kitties. They sure live the good life and are loved so very much. Although, my babies would also love to be outside and roaming through the neighborhood, they don't know how good they have it as indoor kitties!

ReplyDeleteLove you tag and especially that is is for rescue. I am a cat person, right now I have two manx - Foster and Finnigan who are brothers and we fostered them and ended up keeping them. So I would be a cat. Cats are my kind of pet, not that they know they are ours cuz they think we are theirs !!!!!

ReplyDeleteFabulous Tag! We just rescued our 2nd dog a couple weeks ago! Such a rewarding experience. If I could be an Animal I would want to be a Tortoise. They live forever it seems and never in a hurry to do anything.

ReplyDeleteHi, very pleased to meet you! I'm a new follower of yours. I'm very happy to see that your also a furry baby lover! I have 2 furry babies and 4 kitties! I love each of them to pieces! It's a difficult question to answer for me because I adore all animals! If I were a cat my furry parents wouldn't be able to dress me up hmm so I going to have to say a lil doggie with long hair. That way my furry parents could do my hair up with pretty bows and dress me up in cute lil clothes. :-) Yep...that's what I'd be for sure.
