Who is Escape Kitty?

Let me introduce myself. I am Escape Kitty.

I got my start on Sept 1, 2010 as I was out playing in the yard enjoying the birds and squirrels. Really just minding my own business. Happy. Content. Daydreaming.

When, but in an instant, I caught a movement in the corner of my eye. Since cats are noted for their superior vision, I had to do a double take because I thought my eyesight had failed me. I shut my kitty eyes for a moment and reopened them to disbelief.

A coyote? In MY yard? Could it be? And he's drooling my way? Move move move! Find my mom . Run to safety.

Big mistake! Really big mistake. Now she never lets me outside. Done - left to dream. ahhhhh but Kitty dreams really do come true.

So come follow me! I am off to Escape.

Escape Kitty and the Dandelions from Flying Unicorns

Dandelions are in style!  Escape Kitty proves it.
This is the Sept Kit of the Month for the Flying Unicorns and it is fabulous - of course.
Our main kit  can be obtained here.  Though it dos sell out super fast.

This month, Kitty is showing off the wonderful Studio75 collection featured in the kit as well as some cool embellishments for accent pieces.

At any rate, Escape Kitty loves to play in the grass, sit in the grass, nap in the grass.  In this photo, she's showing us her version of "taking time to smell the Flowers".

In order to accentuate the dandelions, I used the Prima stone wall stencil  575939.    I drew a circle in pencil first , then applied the Finnabair Art Basics Modeling paste to the stencil.

I also stamped  a little to create some texture in the background.

Look at the sweet wood embellies.  All I did was ink the edges.  No need for fancy.  Kitty is a plain Kitty anyways so fancy doesn't always work for her.

Below is the Prima metal die that has been misted with Prima Color Blooms in Sorbet.

On behalf of Kitty and myself, thanks.
