Who is Escape Kitty?

Let me introduce myself. I am Escape Kitty.

I got my start on Sept 1, 2010 as I was out playing in the yard enjoying the birds and squirrels. Really just minding my own business. Happy. Content. Daydreaming.

When, but in an instant, I caught a movement in the corner of my eye. Since cats are noted for their superior vision, I had to do a double take because I thought my eyesight had failed me. I shut my kitty eyes for a moment and reopened them to disbelief.

A coyote? In MY yard? Could it be? And he's drooling my way? Move move move! Find my mom . Run to safety.

Big mistake! Really big mistake. Now she never lets me outside. Done - left to dream. ahhhhh but Kitty dreams really do come true.

So come follow me! I am off to Escape.

Escape Kitty - Relaxin in the Pool - Scraps Of Darkness Aug Reveal, Jamaincan Sunset and CSI #32

Jamaican Sunset - Aug Scraps Of Darkness

Welcome to the August reveal for Scraps of Darkness.
The great thing about the Scraps of Darkness kit is that it is packed with versatile products that allow you the freedom to create art to fit your mood.  And the mood of this months kit is fun, flirty Summer boldness.  Summer seems to be slipping past us rather quickly.  This kit will help us capture a little more of summer 2012 to hold onto forever.  We all want to do that, I bet.

This magnificent kit, thoughtfully assembled features the papers from:
The Scrap Cake - Summer City
My Minds Eye  -Indie Chic
Stick pins by Mandy Harrell

I also created this to meet the criteria for Case file #32 of CSI - Color, Stories, Inspiration.
The testimony criteria was to journal a transformation.  I also used the word calm to describe part of her experience. You'll need to read on....gotta see the unique way Kitty gets transformed.    Boy oh boy does Kitty get transformed.

So let's figure out what Kitty's up to, shall we?
So what's Kitty up to these days?  She is enjoying the Summer and all that it has to offer.  A calm peaceful float around a pool is a great way for Kitty to keep cool and refreshed.  There is a tiny itty-bitty problem - a sharp side to this cat tale.  Claws.
Kitty does get pampered with pawdicures often, but plastic rafts and Kitty nails  don't make for a successful combination.
Any guesses as to what happened?

Did Kitty make it out without getting wet?    hmmmmm does this photo look familiar?

This was also created using the sketch from Charlotte Jenkins, suepup.  Thanks again, Charlotte for your continued inspiration.

I used the Dusty Attic Pots and Columns DA0546 and painted with Adirondack acrylic paint in Snow Cap.

My Evidence:
  • wet medium to create my dots of white paint on the background paper.
  • I also used some gauze around my Dusty Attic chippy column.

Thanks for spending the time looking and reading.  I appreciate this a great deal.

Please check out  Scraps of Darkness and the art created by the rest of the wildly talented design team.  The kits are incredibly fun and well assembled.

Please remember to LIKE Kitty on Facebook.  She needs your support if she ever plans on achieving feline world domination.
